God's Blessings!

We are so incredibly excited to be able to say that God has provided money for us to pay off all our debt 8 months early!!! That has been a huge hurtle that we have struggled through over the past 3 years. It just shows us that if we are diligent and faithful that God is faithful to provide. 

God has continued to amaze us over and over again in this process! From unexpected money to job and shift changes that provide better hours for ministry, letting us serve and learn at Celebrate and connecting us with CR people from around the country! He has given us so much clear direction and has guided us every strep of the way. 

Our next two hurdles to leaving this country and moving to our beloved St Kitts is 1. Sell our condo and 2. Raise 100% of our support. 

Our condo is located in West Knoxville near West Town mall, it's a little over 1,000sq ft and we are asking a great and low price! So please spread the word!

To be 100% support raised we need:
Moving Expenses
$2,000 flight down
$12,000 car or a donated suv 
$4,800 40x40 crate - all our furniture and stuff 
$1,200 Taxes and other expenses
Total: $20,000

Living Expenses
Rent  - $1500 
House maint. - $20
Utilities (Electricity & Water) - $325
Internet - $60
Phone - $40
Gas/house - $30 
Gas/Auto - $150
Auto Insurance and maint. - $100
Insurance (Health) - 20
Medical cost - 20
Groceries - $400
Kids curriculum - $50 
Airline tickets (we would like to visit America once a year) - $270
Retirement & Savings - $100 
Shepherd Staff administration fees $331
Total: $3,317 a month

We need one time donations to help cover moving cost and we need monthly or annual commitments to support our living cost on the field. Y'all, it has been SIX months since I last wrote a blog post. I can't believe it has been so long. April Showers (Or the Beginning of Dry Season)

Recently I started reading through Revelation. It's the last book in my journey to read through the entire Bible. It MAY have taken a little more than a year lol. I'm not gonna lie, there were some books I was not excited to dive into (Leviticus? Numbers? Habakuk???). However, God has used each book in His precious word to speak to me in whatever season I have been walking through. I expected to learn a lot about Revelation, but not necessarily from Revelation. I had always viewed it as a way to understand what's coming, but maybe not what I'm dealing with now. But praise God for His LIVING word! It never fails to meet me where I am and speak life over me.  April was not much different than March. Phone calls, reaching out, being told "next week", "next month", waiting, waiting, waiting. We have FINALLY arrived!

We're here.  We are here. We are really for real here!  We are really, truly, amazingly, actually here! I have to keep reminding myself of this daily, hourly, sometimes minute to minute. One week in, and it still doesn't always feel real.  At our missions training in August we talked about the paradox that missionaries live with. How it's possible to feel two ways at once, think two ways at once, eventually to belong to two places at once. This had been the month of paradox. We spent November saying goodbye and soaking up as much East Tennessee love and memories as possible. We started the month by finding out that we will be getting a NIECE this march!!! Congratulations Adam and Katie and Eli!!! We are so excited for that precious girl to arrive! We also had early Christmas with my (Katelyn's) family so that we could celebrate all together.
