  Our goal is to see the people of St Kitts set free from their hurts, habits, and hang-ups through a relationship with Christ! We plan to partner with local churches and the prison to start and grow these CR programs. We want to invest in and develop Kittitians to lead and take over the programs to create sustainable recovery ministry in St Kitts. Celebrate Recovery has been instrumental in our lives, helping us to learn to live free from our past hurts and bad choices. It taught us better how to rely on God and how to seek Him when we are struggling. God has done incredible things in millions of lives around the world through Celebrate Recovery. We are so excited to see what God will do through Celebrate Recovery in the Caribbean and, specifically, in St Kitts!

Y'all, it has been SIX months since I last wrote a blog post. I can't believe it has been so long. We have: started homeschooling Addalyn, said goodbye to good friends, traveled to the US for New Years and doctor visits, welcomed new people, had three family visits and a friend visit and two mission teams visit, watched church grow, taken on new roles, and welcomed back an old one. Why am I finally able to sit down at catch you up now? I have covid. April Showers (Or the Beginning of Dry Season)

Recently I started reading through Revelation. It's the last book in my journey to read through the entire Bible. It MAY have taken a little more than a year lol. I'm not gonna lie, there were some books I was not excited to dive into (Leviticus? Numbers? Habakuk???). However, God has used each book in His precious word to speak to me in whatever season I have been walking through. I expected to learn a lot about Revelation, but not necessarily from Revelation. I had always viewed it as a way to understand what's coming, but maybe not what I'm dealing with now. But praise God for His LIVING word! It never fails to meet me where I am and speak life over me.  April was not much different than March. Phone calls, reaching out, being told "next week", "next month", waiting, waiting, waiting. We have FINALLY arrived!

We're here.  We are here. We are really for real here!  We are really, truly, amazingly, actually here! I have to keep reminding myself of this daily, hourly, sometimes minute to minute. One week in, and it still doesn't always feel real.  At our missions training in August we talked about the paradox that missionaries live with. How it's possible to feel two ways at once, think two ways at once, eventually to belong to two places at once. This had been the month of paradox. We spent November saying goodbye and soaking up as much East Tennessee love and memories as possible. We started the month by finding out that we will be getting a NIECE this march!!! Congratulations Adam and Katie and Eli!!! We are so excited for that precious girl to arrive! We also had early Christmas with my (Katelyn's) family so that we could celebrate all together.
